Mpho Molokomme
My name is Mpho Molokomme and I live in Mamelodi East. When I finish schooling I want to be a biochemist because I like doing genetics and dealing with DNA samples.
The UP with Science programme has helped me a lot because now I know a lot about genetics and biochemistry. I also enjoyed it when we went to the food science faculty and they taught me a lot of things concerning the preservatives and additives of food; we also made ice-cream using nitrogen.
We went to the Tswaing crater, it was very interesting because it was more like we were hiking, going up the mountains. But we had a great time.
I want to thank UP with Science for giving me the chance to explore the science field.
