A Forensic investigation into a minute world

SwapWe are all familiar with what we can see with the naked eye but often it is what we cannot see that impacts on our lives the most. There is a world inhabited by millions of living creatures just underneath the sole of a shoe. We will investigate this world and discover many new things about it by using cutting edge forensic techniques. Each creature on this planet has a barcode in their DNA that can tell us what it is and who it's friends are without us even having to see it. We can use these barcodes to discover which organisms inhabit certain environments and who else shares these environments with them. Join us for an exciting journey in Science and learn how to use those techniques you've seen on TV to discover new things about your environment and the microscopic creatures that inhabit it.
