From the minutes of a meeting held on 18 October 2000:
"Four research projects were entered at the Northern Gauteng
Science Expo, three received a gold award and all three were sent
to the National Science Expo. (At the National Expo ?) Two teams received silver medals
and the third team was chosen to represent South Africa in France.
Their project: "The Eating Habits of African Teenagers"
was a combined Consumer Sciences/Food Science project."
