Aims of project
- Disease survey or progression on a crop, form seedling to harvest (the idea is to visit the garden each time and record the diseases present and explain how, what, why of the different disease occurring at different times)
- Mini-plots, compare untreated soil, compost amended soil and solarized soil with regard to plant growth and disease occurrence.
- Learn about separate aspects of plant pathology, such as isolation, inoculation, symptom description, disease identification, pathogen identification etc. how and what plant pathologists do.
