"Biochemistry and Business of Tuberculosis"

Carl B has just completed his MSc in Biochemistry and will be taking his discoveries on tuberculosis to the market. He is now confronted with the task of "invention disclosure", that will enable the general public to understand his work and appreciate its value for commercialisation. He must convince investors to commit their money to develop his invention of a new TB diagnostic device to a product that can be sold to hospitals to assist them in controlling the South African TB epidemic. We need Grade 11 science minds and skills to help us build a model of this invented diagnostic device that will convey the novelty and benefit of it to the general public. This will be used to become part of a business plan presentation to industry to get them involved.
