Expo 2012
And the winners are ...!
At this year's Northern Gauteng Regional Expo held on 31 August and 1 September projects submitted by our "UP with SCIENCE" learners were awarded 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals.

Nqobile & Harshan also won the "Best overall project" at the Expo and are going through to Nationals.
There were a number of UP with SCIENCE learners who presented projects from their own schools. I know that some of the learners received assistance from people in different departments. All these learners did well and I would like to thank everybody that helped them.

- Annette Opperman got a bronze award for her "Mikrogolfradiasie op biologiese wesens"
- Megan Folds received a 'Certificate of Merit for her "CO2 ons Frenemy".
