Activity 1b

Netiquette

Internet or online etiquette is generally referred to as 'netiquette'.

If you send an e-mail, please remember the following:
  • Always use a descriptive subject line.
"Hello" is not a good subject line.
  • Write in full sentences and don't use sms abbreviations.
  • Be polite but to the point.
  • If you have many questions about different topics, write one mail per topic.
  • Use a spell checker and read your message before you press the send button.
  • Never, never send and an e-mail when you are angry; write it if you have to, then cool off and read it once more before you send it.
